Tarpan Construction, LLC is the Prime Contractor on this U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Project. The NTP was issued on November 1, 2017.
Tarpan Construction, LLC is the Prime Contractor on this U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Project. The NTP was issued on November 1, 2017.  Tarpan began working immediately on clear & grubbing, haul ramps, and environmental protection.  Clearing and grubbing was 100% self-performed by Tarpan and was over 80% complete before the high water came in February 2018.  We remobilized back to the site on May 21, 2018, to complete the clearing and grubbing. Embankment placement started in June 2018 and was completed in October 2019. A total of 729,925 CY was placed on this project.  Tarpan self-performed 100% of all placement of Levee Surfacing a total of 8,790 tons was placed and compacted. To date, the Vidalia Area Office has been pleased with our ability to stay on schedule, the resources we are providing to perform work, and our attention to detail in our quality control plan.
